-Ripper

Did a teeny tiny painting for a Powell Peralta Show. Lots of Artists were involved, all doing their own rendition of the Bones Ripper dude. The show goes up online for sale today at noon at www.skateone.com. They are coming out with a book for all the art too, I think.

Lately, I feel like my sketches have been more interesting than their final painting, so maybe I should start doing some bigger drawings.

Here's a close up of the pen sketch.

Here's the info and names of other folks in the show.

I've been in Arizona with family all week, so here is a quick post via my friend Joseph Oursland's computer.

-Photo Dump.

Here's the cover for issue 12 of House Of Mystery.

And here's the rough and final drawing with some spots of computer shading for reference.

A few changes were made to get to the final drawing.

An alternative sketch that didn't make it.

Did another local flyer too.

Since I'm going to attempt to update regularly I guess posting some event photos every once in a while can't be bad.
A couple of snapshots from Saturday.

Frank Stockton and some Asians.

Paying homage to Soybean after James and Kenichi's show.

-Mondays

I didn't hear anyone talk about New Years Resolutions this year so I'm going to make mine here with you right now. Every Monday for 2009 I'm gonna post something new. And if theres no update on Tuesday I expect some shit talking from you fine folks.
Come to this show if you live in Brooklyn.

Also my friends James Jean and Kenichi Hoshine have a jawdropping show at Jonathan Levine Opening this Saturday.

Lets try and stay positive, the world hasn't ended quite yet.
